{"id":535,"date":"2025-02-06T01:45:02","date_gmt":"2025-02-06T01:45:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/community.ex.io\/?p=535"},"modified":"2025-02-06T02:55:08","modified_gmt":"2025-02-06T02:55:08","slug":"compliance-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/community.ex.io\/zh\/2025\/02\/06\/compliance-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"Compliance Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are currently looking for a Compliance Officer in Hong Kong for our fast-growing virtual asset trading platform.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist in updating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations;\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in licensing applications for regulated virtual asset services;\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with key internal functions to identity gaps and driving projects to close the gap, as well as drive change and develop best practices;\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare CPT materials and maintain relevant records; Influences and negotiates with seniors across functions and management; may communicate with external consultants and lawyers;\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform compliance control and monitoring programs including but not limited to control room, AML monitoring, and trade surveillance;\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handle other compliance matters \/ ad hoc matters assigned by Head of Compliance.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University graduates in Law, Accounting, Finance, Business or other relevant fields<s>;<\/s>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sound knowledge in SFO, SFC VATP Guidelines, SFC AML\/CTF Guidelines and other relevant codes and regulations;\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 &#8211; 5 years of relevant experience in compliance or audit, gained from sizable institutions (including investment banks, virtual asset exchanges and\/or financial regulators) or professional firms (e.g. Big4 CPA)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong interest in blockchain industry;\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good communication and interpersonal skills;\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good team-player who is self-motivated, independent, meticulous, analytical and responsible;\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and work under pressure;\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willing and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and assume responsibilities with a result-driven attitude;\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creative thinker and proactive problem solver;\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A positive, \u201ccan do\u201d attitude;\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Industry recognized financial crime\/AML qualification preferred (e.g. ACAMS\/ICA);\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous experience in dealing with regulators (e.g. SFC\/HKMA) and\/or external professional service providers (e.g. lawyers\/consultants) is an advantage; and\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, and Fluency in Mandarin is preferred.\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are currently looking for a Compliance Officer in Hong Kong for our fast-growing virtual asset trading platform.\u202f&nbsp; Responsibilities: Requirements:<\/p>","protected":false},"author":13,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"wp-custom-template-career-post","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[17],"tags":[18],"class_list":["post-535","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-career-post","tag-hong-kong"],"aioseo_notices":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/community.ex.io\/zh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/535","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/community.ex.io\/zh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/community.ex.io\/zh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/community.ex.io\/zh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/13"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/community.ex.io\/zh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=535"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/community.ex.io\/zh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/535\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":557,"href":"https:\/\/community.ex.io\/zh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/535\/revisions\/557"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/community.ex.io\/zh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=535"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/community.ex.io\/zh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=535"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/community.ex.io\/zh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=535"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
