We are seeking a highly motivated Risk Control Officer to join our Risk Management team. This is ideal for someone with a strong interest in cryptocurrencies and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating operational risks that could impact the exchange’s efficiency and security.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures to mitigate identified risks, including both financial and non-financial risks.
- Monitor and analyze operations to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the exchange’s processes and systems.
- Assist in evaluating risks related to our products and services, ensuring robust risk management practices are in place.
- Collaborate with various departments (e.g., IT, Compliance, Operations) to ensure risk mitigation strategies are integrated into daily operations.
- Assist in conducting regular risk assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Prepare and present risk reports to the Risk Management team and senior management, highlighting findings and recommendations.
- Participate in the development and execution of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Assist in the investigation of any operational incidents or breaches and contribute to the development of corrective action plans.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in technology that could affect the exchange’s risk profile.
- Assist in preparing training materials and conducting training sessions on risk management practices for internal teams to enhance awareness and understanding of risk issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and financial markets.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
